Dr. Daniel Cullum

Daniel Cullum, DDS

Course Director 

Dr. Dan Cullum received his DDS with Distinction from University of Alberta, Canada and completed his residency training at Westchester Medical Center, New York. Dr. Cullum is a diplomat of American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and currently is on Faculty as Visiting Lecturer at Loma Linda University & UCLA, Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He speaks internationally and has contributed articles and textbook chapters on Implant Reconstruction. He has a private oral surgery practice in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and is president of Implants Northwest LIVE Learning Center.

Dr. Bach Le

Bach Le, DDS, MD

Lecturer for Horizontal Augmentation: Ridge Expansion & Grafting

Dr. Bach Le completed his specialty training at Oregon Health Sciences University. He is a diplomat of American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, The American Dental Society of Anesthesiologist & International Congress of Oral Implantologists and serves as a Clinical Associate Professor of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the USC School of Dentistry and Assistant Director of Residency Education at USC Medical Center. Dr. Le has been the featured Speaker at several national meetings and is the author of numerous scientific journals. He has a private oral surgery practice in Whittier, California.

Dr. Barry Bartee

Barry Bartee, DDS, MD

Lecturer for Implant Site Development, Socket Grafting & CBCT

Dr. Barry Bartee received his D.D.S. degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas and after 9 years in private general practice he completed additional studies at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine, receiving the M.D. degree in 1999. Dr. Bartee then returned to private general dental practice in Lubbock, with a special emphasis on implant and complex reconstructive dentistry.

Dr. Bartee has a special interest in alveolar bone regeneration, and has authored numerous scientific articles and three textbook chapters on this and other topics related to implant dentistry. He has been involved with regenerative product research and development for over 15 years, and is a co-founder and stockholder in Osteogenics Biomedical, Inc.

Dr. Michael S. Block

Michael S. Block, DDS

Lecturer for Crestal Sinus Elevation & Navigational Surgery

Dr. Michael Block graduated from the University of Rochester with a BA in Biology and a BS in Biomedical Engineering and completed his dental training at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He completed his residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the LSU School of Dentistry and there achieved the academic rank of Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Currently he is in private practice in Metairie, Louisiana. Dr. Block is editor-in-chief of five textbooks, Past President of the Academy of Osseointegration and now serves on the AAOMS Committee on Continuing Education. He is a Section Editor on Dental Implants for the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and an examiner for the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Robert W. Emery

Robert W. Emery, BDS, DDS

Lecturer for Immediate Implants & Navigational Surgery

Dr. Emery is a Board Certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in private practice in Washington, D.C. Dr. Emery began his dental training at the University of Illinois in Chicago. He completed a General Practice Residency in New York at LIJ and completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training at the University of Maryland. Dr. Emery has a special interest in image guided surgery and implant dentistry speaking both nationally and internationally. He has published numerous articles and book chapters. Dr. Emery received the Nobelpharma Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Research Award and Grant, from the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Research Foundation. He is also actively involved in numerous research projects with emphasis on Dynamic guided surgery and is a founding partner of X-Nav Technologies LLC. Presently he is Director of the Capital Center for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Senior Attending Surgeon at the Washington Hospital Center, and Chief Medical Officer of X-Nav Technologies.

Dr. Sonia Leziy

Dr. Sonia Leziy, DDS

Lecturer for Advanced Team Implants Symposium

Dr. Sonia Leziy received her dental degree from McGill University in 1989 and subsequently completed a GPR program at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal. Her post-graduate degree in periodontics was completed at the University of British Columbia in 1993. Dr. Leziy is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, a Fellow of the ICOI, and a member of the British Columbia Society of Periodontists, the Canadian Academy of Periodontists, the American Academy of Periodontists and the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry. She is an associate clinical professor at the University of British Columbia and co-mentors the multi-disciplinary VIP study club. Dr. Leziy is a member of several distinguished editorial boards and has published on implant esthetics and surgical protocols, including a textbook chapter published by Quintessence Publishing. Dr. Leziy is actively involved in two clinical trials involving new dental implant designs. Dr.Leziy lectures internationally on the subject of implants and advanced esthetics/periodontal plastic surgery.

Dr. Brahm Miller

Brahm Miller, DDS

Lecturer for Advansed Team Implant Symposium

Brahm Miller received his dental degree from McGill University (1990), completed a GPR at the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal, followed by post-graduate studies in prosthodontics at the Medical College of Virginia in 1995. He has been practicing in North Vancouver since 1995. He is a Fellow and examiner of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, a member of the Association of Prosthodontists of Canada, the Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, British Columbia Society of Prosthodontists, and a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Miller lectures internationally on the subject of implant-based rehabilitation, ceramics and tissue development through provisionalization. Dr Miller is an associate clinical professor at the University of British Columbia and co-mentors the VIP study club. Dr Miller is a member of several editorial boards and is published in textbooks. He is currently involved in a clinical trial assessing a new implant and its impact on crestal bone and soft tissue stability.

Dr. Mariner received his PhD from University of Colorado. He is the founder and director of Wound Healing at Mosaic Biosciences, Inc. (Boulder, CO), the Founder and President of CoramiR Biomedical, Inc. (Superior, CO), and the Chief Scientific Officer at Snoasis Medical, LLC (Golden, CO).
