ALDO LEOPARDI, BDS, DDS, MS

Dr. Aldo Leopardi received his dental training from the University of Adelaide, South Australia and

University of Detroit Mercy (UDM), Michigan. In 1993, he received his specialist training and

master’s degree in combined fixed, removable and implant Prosthodontics, at the University of

North Carolina, at Chapel Hill (UCH-CH). He was faculty at UNC-CH, UDM, and Colorado Health

Sciences School of Dentistry. Since 1999, he has been in full-time private practice limited to

Prosthodontics in Denver, Colorado. Today he lectures nationally on subjects involving fixed,

removable and implant dentistry. He is involved in clinical research and has contributed articles

and textbook chapters. He is also the founder of the Denver Implant Study Club and co-founder of

Dentutopia, an online dental educational resource.

DAN CULLUM, DDS

Dr. Dan Cullum completed his DDS with distinction at the University of Alberta, Canada and

residency at Westchester Medical Center, NY. He is a Diplomate of the ABOMS and Visiting

Lecturer at Loma Linda and UCLA, Depts of OMS. He speaks internationally, has published articles

and textbook chapters and was principal contributor and lead editor of the innovative textbook

“Minimally Invasive Dental Implant Surgery.” Dr. Cullum has served in leadership roles at national,

state and local societies. At Implants Northwest (Coeur d’Alene, ID), he practices Oral and

Maxillofacial Surgery focusing on immediate and minimally invasive implant reconstruction. Dr.

Cullum is President of Implants Northwest LIVE Learning Center, emphasizing advanced

techniques for surgeon/ restorative teams using LIVE surgery and “hands-on” application in a small

group environment.

MATTHEW J. FIEN, DDS

Dr. Matthew J. Fien graduated Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, Periodontics at

Nova Southeastern University and is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and

Implant Dentistry. Dr. Fien has completed a number of research projects and has numerous

publications He lectures at Nova Southeastern University nationally on bone grafting techniques

and implant dentistry including “hands-on” guided bone regeneration course. He is an active

member of the AAP, AO, and the Southern Academy of Periodontology and maintains a private

practice in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, limited to periodontics and Implant Dentistry.

EMILIO ARGÜELLO, DDS, MS

Dr. Emilio Argüello obtained his dental degree, periodontology, and MS in Oral Medicine from

Tufts University, Boston and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and Implant

Dentistry. He clinical and basic science research in periodontology at The Forsyth Institute and

Harvard. He received the NIH-National Research Service Award for studies in biofilm formation,

microbiology and treatment of periodontal diseases. He has been a core faculty in the graduate

periodontology at Harvard for over 15 years. Dr Argüello has other international faculty

appointments. He has co-authored textbooks, scientific publications and lectures extensively

internationally. In addition he serves as a reviewer of the JPerio, IJPRD; is chair of he Scientific

Committee for AO and maintains a private practice limited to periodontics and implant dentistry.

BACH LE, DDS, MD

Dr. Bach Le completed his specialty training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Oregon Health

Sciences University and is currently Clinical Associate Professor at the Herman Ostrow School of

Dentistry at USC. Dr. Le has authored over 14 chapters in textbooks on bone regeneration and

dental implants and has published extensively in peer-review journals. He has been an invited

speaker at numerous organizations including the AAOMS, Academy of Osseointegration,

Academy of Prosthodontics, American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, American Academy of

Implant Dentistry, American College of Prosthodontists, Greater New York Academy of

Prosthodontists, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Dr. Le was inducted as an

Honorary Member of the American College of Prosthodontists and is a recipient of the Charles E.

English Award in Clinical Science. He is a Diplomate of the American Association of Oral &

Maxillofacial Surgeons and holds Fellowship in the American College of Dentists, the International

College of Dentists and the International Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons.

MARC FERGUSON, CDT

Marc Ferguson CDT is from a dental family. His grandfather, father, and brother are all dentists. He

has worked as a technician at the highest level, and has turned his attention to digital technology

in the dental field. Mark started as General Manager of Vulcan Custom Dental in Birmingham, AL

in February of 2016. Prior to that he was on Core3D’s International Technical committee doing

beta testing and material library development for 3Shape and exocad. After graduating from

dental technician school in 2001, he worked for Matt Roberts, CDT, and was trained by Lee Culp,

CDT. Ferguson spent eight and half years at Aurum LVI where he worked as a full mouth

technician and the CAD/CAM Crown and Bridge Manager; he has 16 years’ experience in various

dental CAD/CAM packages.
